The club are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for children and adults to enjoy the game. Safer Recruitment practices are followed to ensure all staff and volunteers at Blandford Cricket Club are suitable for their role, appropriately vetted and supported by the club. To do this we:
• Clearly define the responsibilities of the roles within the club.
• Ensure staff and volunteers are aware of and agree to safeguarding policies and complete the relevant safeguarding training.
• Collect essential information such as persona details, relevant experience, training certificates and references.
• Conduct an ECB DBS background check.
• Review the performance of staff and volunteers, responding swiftly to any incidents of poor practice.
