Safeguarding & Welfare 3 of 4

3. Parents

At Blandford Cricket Club, the safety and well-being of our members, especially children and vulnerable adults, is our top priority. We have implemented comprehensive safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure a secure and supportive environment for everyone. We want our children and young people to enjoy playing cricket and parents/carers are vital in keeping them, and all children, safe.

We have codes of conduct for all our age groups in the 'Youth' section. We encourage you to read and discuss these with your child. If you or your child have any questions please do not hesitate to speak to your child's coach, a safeguarding officer or member of the committee.

Further information about safeguarding children in sport can be found here: Child Protection in Sport Unit

The ECB invite everyone involved in cricket to complete their Level 1 Safeguarding induction - a 30 min online training module available to everyone HERE.

If you have any questions or need further information about our safeguarding policies, please contact one of our Safeguarding Officers on the numbers below or email blandfordcricketclub@gmail.com.
