It is the job of everyone at Blandford Cricket Club to keep children and young people safe so remember, you can talk to any grown up you trust about something that is worrying you. We want to make sure that all children are safe and happy when they are with us.
We promise to:
• Keep everyone safe and happy
• Use good rules to protect everyone
• Train our volunteers to keep children safe
• Listen to any worries children or adults share
We make things safe by:
• Checking for risks regularly
• Giving clear rules on how to behave
• Encouraging children, volunteers, and parents to talk to each other
We take all worries seriously. If a child or adult has a worry about a child's safety, they should talk to a trusted adult, parent or club safeguarding officer.
All worries are handled with care and only shared with the necessary professionals.
Childline is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 0800 1111 or chat online at Childline.org.uk.
Read the 'Code of Conduct' that relates to your age group for a guide to the club rules we use to keep children and young people safe.
Every child deserves to be safe, important, and respected. If you are upset or worried about something that has happened to or you or someone else then please remember you can talk to someone who will listen to you and help you.
