The Dorset Cricket Board have organised a number of courses for the 2022/23 programme. Courses organised include:

- Young Volunteer Bespoke 'Supporting a Coach' Training
- Young Cricket Officials courses
- ECB Support Coach course
- ECB Foundation 1 Coach courses
- ECB Core Coach course

Dorset Education courses 2022/23

Please be aware that it is planned to run the same courses at the same time each year, but rotate the venues annually to a different district. This is to ensure courses are available to each district on a cycle.

Within the link above, there are also details of Coach Development Bursaries available for courses up to the 1st of February.

Extra Courses in 2022/23
Courses still to be organised and advertised are:

- Emergency First Aid for Cricket
- Safe Hands for Club Safeguarding Officers (expected Feb 2023 delivery)
- 2 x Young Cricket Officials courses (in the north and west of county in March/April 2023
- 3 x ECB Support Coach courses (expected April/May 2023 delivery)
- 1 x ECB Foundation 1 Coach course (in the west of the county in April 2023)

Blandford CC will pay the cost of the course for coaches and umpires if they will volunteer to support the club in junior training or umpiring matches.

Note the Young Cricketer's courses are free for anybody from 13 to 18 to attend.
